The Senior Kappa Affairs Committee plays a
distinct role within the Denver Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi.
Their Mission is to reclaim and retain all local senior members of the
Denver Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. who are retired or sixty (60)
years of age or older, as active, productive, contributing, fully
financial Brothers, and to encourage, start up, simplify and carry out
programs that will enhance and ensure, a sense of well being, improve
communication, make greater outreach efforts to Brothers and
Silhouette's to ensure that they feel welcome and are invited to
participate in all Senior Kappa Activities.
Their Objectives
-To promote a continuous, warm passion of
brotherhood and fraternalism at each of our
gatherings, and spread it throughout our
fraternity.
-To promote a continuous and on going exchange
between Sr. Kappas and all other Kappas
through our visitation, tele-visits, Scoop A
Nupe, experience sharing, history gatherings, and
confidence building programs
-To ensure in all of our activities that we have
invited all Sr. Kappas and unmarried wives of our
Chapter Invisible brothers to participate
and feel welcome at all Kappa social activities
-To contact all inactive Sr. Kappas, promote
reclamation, and help them in re-involvement into
all activities of our fraternity
-To encourage a continuous and on-going two way
communication between the younger and Sr.
Kappas to accomplish all of the above
-To encourage younger Kappas to pair up and sit
with Sr. Kappas at Fraternity Meetings.
